Does need new caulking around the tub, coming loose in places and moldy especially in those areas
The room was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable with plenty of covers and pillows. The price was excellent as well. The only downside was that the WiFi was spotty at best,even after the front desk rebooted it.
Mommoth Cave is a wonderful place to visit. The caves in the area are world class. I liked staying at Motel 6 because is was only 10 minutes from the park. It is also in walking distance to the restaurants in Cave City. The people are really nice there!
My comments are based on the recent experience and a comparison with experience at other hotels having same or a comparable room rate. Rooms were dirty - carpet/floor were stained. bed sheets and comforter were stained. bathtub had grime and stains. There are other hotels out there at same or comparable rate that have way better welcoming staff and a facilities like microwave or fridge in room, inclusive breakfast, better toiletries and cleaner rooms.
I enjoyed my stay here very much, it has not been "updated with all the "in" styling and was welcoming. Don't change it! I especially appreciated the couch in the room; after 8 hours of driving, it was lovely to relax on it and and read.
the room was clean, with few appointments. no microwave or fridge. Comfortable beds. no shampoo or lotions. 2 tiny bars of soap. tv worked well, batteries in remote were failing. Room showed signs of wear. was there a breakfast? I don;t know.....
